Kimiyuki Nishimura
Embedded & industrial-AI engineer. I build small, dependable automations that take the repetitive computer work off people's hands.
For twenty years I have designed electronics, FPGA logic, and industrial systems — the kind of work where “does it actually run on the factory floor, every day, without surprises?” is the only question that matters. I bring that same habit to software: scope it small, make it reliable, hand it over so it can keep working without me.
What I do
- Automating spreadsheet entry, daily data gathering and routine office tasks.
- Anomaly detection and signal processing for equipment and sensor data.
- Bridging hardware and software — embedded firmware, FPGA, and Python tooling.
Selected work & writing
- Proof-of-concept projects — circuits, FPGA/HDL co-sim, STM32, Z80, bearing anomaly detection.
- Technical articles on Zenn (in Japanese).
- Code on GitHub.
Have a repetitive task you'd like to hand to a machine? I'm happy to take a look. I work evenings and weekends, remotely, at a calm pace.
